Not sure if I've posted a photo of the new soldering station that arrived today. Anyway, here it is

Interesting reading for anyone concerned about their online privacy - this USA Today journalist requested all the data three companies hold about him, and goes through the results.
Are there scripts to grab all of your followers from a mastodon instance?
That's the ultimate #TinyHouse on wheels
Coworkers are talking about having stock in FB. Someone mentioned Diaspora and got light chuckles. Since when did our choice in social media become a way of (light) bullying? Why is social media a form of social signalling?
Hey everyone! As you might know already, a.weirder.earth suffered a catastrophic hardware failure, taking us down for about 2 weeks and forcing us to move to a completely new instance.
A lot of us (myself included) didn't back up our follows either. So we're very much on square one.
How you can help:
- Contribute to #ff (follow friday) tomorrow. Everyone could do with the follow suggestions.
- Check your follows. If anyone is from 'a.weirder.earth', refollow them on 'weirder.earth'.
Thanks!
