@lis soooooooooooooo being harassed over being named harry potter for the past, idunno, 20 years, that was tolerable. but the author of harry potter disagreeing with you is just too fucking much.

@x44203
Did I miss something? I thought Rowling said like one thing and everyone got all pissed off
@lis

@lis
a whole fucking essay wtf

Also I can't even read it because this gay ass CloudFlare ripoff is giving me the 20-step captcha and still not letting me through. Also that's not even my IP address
@x44203

@r000t @lis
> Using gay as an insult
> Calling denying the rights of trans people a "disagreement"
Awh come on, you can do better than this

@x44203
I sleep with a trans woman every night. Don't try that purity bullshit on me. Block me or move on.

I also, as I pointed out (and I know you read it because you found the time to critique my word choice), wasn't able to read the source.

Have a good one!
@lis

@r000t @lis
So using "gay" as an insult is fine because you sleep with somebody who is trans? And what has that to do with "purity"?
And why do you need to read the original essay in the first place, when in the linked article there is commentary on the original essay (with the original being included as text snippets)?

@x44203
I'm a busy person. I saw the link to the essay up top above the fold, I clicked it, I made my commentary on that, and moved on.

The top level post was boosted into my timeline and I assumed its posting was commentary on the irony of the Twitter user taking abuse for their name for years, but only taking action when some author says trans people shouldn't be able to do do $thing. Last time I checked, Rowling was an author and *not* a lawmaker. Her opinions aren't the law. Words are not oppression.

And on that topic, I'm gay! I'm a big fucking faggot, and if I wanna call that interstitial page gay, I fucking can!

Anyway, if yall didn't want commentary on your posts, you can set the post privacy to "followers only". Posts with that privacy option won't wander into people's timelines and be commented upon.

Have a good one!

Block me. Or move on.
@lis

@r000t @lis The top level post was not about that. It was about a trans person changing their legal name to fit their gender, not because of something rowling did.

@austenitic
HAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA

No. I've nothing to apologize for. I believe I explained that.

Also nice waltzing into a days-old thread to reply guy me lmao.
@x44203

@r000t Damn, you have even less self-reflection than vantablack. How the hell did you even find the top post? @austenitic

@x44203
Oops. Should probably learn to read.

Again, followers-only is the perfect scope for shit you don't want seen by other people.
@austenitic

@r000t

way to overreact. if you don't like people replying to your toots after a few days, you could consider deleting everything more than a few days old or never making it visible.

i'm not a guy, it's never ok to call me a reply guy.

also, it's never too late to apologize and move on.

@x44203

@austenitic @x44203
Still not 100% on what I'm apologizing for. Two "charges" were levied against me, I defended myself against both.

Have a good one!

@lis Harry Potter was supposed to be a really common name.
