@lis soooooooooooooo being harassed over being named harry potter for the past, idunno, 20 years, that was tolerable. but the author of harry potter disagreeing with you is just too fucking much.
So using "gay" as an insult is fine because you sleep with somebody who is trans? And what has that to do with "purity"?
And why do you need to read the original essay in the first place, when in the linked article there is commentary on the original essay (with the original being included as text snippets)?
I'm a busy person. I saw the link to the essay up top above the fold, I clicked it, I made my commentary on that, and moved on.
The top level post was boosted into my timeline and I assumed its posting was commentary on the irony of the Twitter user taking abuse for their name for years, but only taking action when some author says trans people shouldn't be able to do do $thing. Last time I checked, Rowling was an author and *not* a lawmaker. Her opinions aren't the law. Words are not oppression.
And on that topic, I'm gay! I'm a big fucking faggot, and if I wanna call that interstitial page gay, I fucking can!
Anyway, if yall didn't want commentary on your posts, you can set the post privacy to "followers only". Posts with that privacy option won't wander into people's timelines and be commented upon.
Have a good one!
Block me. Or move on.
