@jakob One more thing. Ghostscript fails on a few unprocessed PDFs as it expects valid input. I found pdftk to make for a good preprocessor (it fixes errors, but doesn't go all the way):

pdftk input.pdf output output.pdf

@tootboi That looks like it'd keep you warm in the winter for sure

CVE-2018-1111
"A malicious DHCP server, or an attacker on the local network able to spoof DHCP responses, could use this flaw to execute arbitrary commands with root privileges on systems using NetworkManager which is configured to obtain network configuration using the DHCP protocol."

@wasamasa Really impressive results, too; issue 0x09 shrank down by 71.4%

@wasamasa That's awesome! This is actually really useful for when I load issues onto my phone to read on the go, too

@jakob I've come up with an ingenious way to save your server's drives from overflowing:

gs -sDEVICE=pdfwrite -dBATCH -dNOPAUSE -dQUIET -sOutputFile=out.pdf in.pdf

With this you can remove all attachments except text and images. I've confirmed that the remaining size is mostly images by running `pdfimages -all in.pdf /tmp/out`. I think I'll make me an `unbloatpdf` alias or something.

@wasamasa I don't really want to think about it, lol. The PDF tricks are fun, but every ~50MB issue makes my storage space weep a little more.

Also I have enough space to mirror PoC||GTFO now

Server's back up. Not in full, just gopher and sshd, but those are the important ones

We're getting there. This is still the same atrocious color scheme I was using for my i3 rice, so I might end up changing that

Prom was at the aquarium tonight

@dax Yep, your reply to my post about it from a while back was a big push for me to go all out and install it. So glad I did, it's incredibly comfy

@dax Hell yeah, I'm running st as well. It was i3 and rxvt-unicode before I was shown the light

Compiled the latest Firefox without GCC segfaulting B)

Experimenting with dwm this time instead of i3 so I'm redoing my rice. I also think I'll move to some shell that isn't bash, maybe dash or mksh

University issued me an email address today but I can't log into it from mutt, it only lets me log in from webmail

Gentoo is pretty fun so far

I was getting a kernel panic upon booting last night but today it just werks. I don't think I did anything between then and now
