We discovered an incredibly gorgeous mountain lake to camp at this weekend. It is only accessible by kayak, so this was our first kayaking/camping trip.

Doxxing is such a foreign concept to some people because of Facebook’s and Google’s real name policies. Just another way those companies are a detriment to a safety of people online.

I just discovered https://www.scuttlebutt.nz and this seems like such a cool idea. I know I say that about a lot of things, but that’s because a lot of things are cool ideas.
The things they trip on are pretty mundane things (to me), like Burning Man. Instead of thinking about the art and such, they put down the whole event because there aren’t vendors selling things out there and “everybody must be on drugs”. Seriously, they thought the gifting culture was a bad thing.
I love the opportunities my job provides, but the people I work with are so challenging. They aren’t terribly rude, but they are sooooo negative and dismissive about anything that is outside their worldview. I’m definitely an outsider here, because anything I express interest in causes visceral reactions in the others for how “weird” it is and they are not open to ideas of acceptance.
Oh my God, Mary Louise Kelly! Just let the person speak and quit interrupting them, you dramatic, ratings craving blowhard!
